Traffic tickets are not wanted by anyone. For one thing, if someone gets one, there is a possibility that their insurance rates will go up. Plus you have the fine to pay. And, if you get more than a couple of citations, you risk the chance of having your privileges suspended for a period of time.
Depending on where you live, many people think it is legally okay to drive 5-10 miles over the posted speed limit. This idea is wrong. Anyone can get a speeding citation for driving any speed over the posted limit. Although there are many places where police officers may not enforce the limit law if you are only going just over the limit. Just remember, it may only be the officer discretion not to enforce speeding.
